Over time as humanity we’ve gotten better at communication. I believe the industry of the future will lie at helping people better communicate themselves or organization through video, music, pics, text, web vià the platform. Computer programmer meets artist. Technology meets art. West meets East. Right brain meets left. The blend of the two will reinvent business, politics, commerce. Success will lie at creative capitalism. The problems/deficiencies are there. Think of the solutions.

I think our ability to communicate as humanity is like our baby? Business, technology, industry, etc. All develops over time and, like any parent, will eventually have to let go… Ali G, makes people explain themselves clearer. Stephen Hawkins once wrote something to the effect of a scientist isn’t well founded if he can’t explain what he does to an 8yo. And that English Jew Cohen does it makes everyone he talks to explain themselves. Beautiful baby.

Why do they hold Country Music Awards annually? They should have one ceremony and let it be because every song is the exact same. I’ve yet to hear a country song that doesn’t involve any kind of nostalgia. May we please move onward from the good ole’ days?
Preface, Declaration of Independence
It is not political will, but moral reasoning, accessible to all, that is the foundation of our political system. …Resting on a firm moral foundation, they articulate the first principles of political organization.

Apparently I’ve started meditating. I’ll stare at a certain spot for awhile then lazily blink and shift concentration to like a tree or something. It’s kind of like an animal lying in a field… not really thinking of anything, more like thinking of nothing, just being. In the future, I hope to grant this nothingness more of my time.
Does anyone else have a pre-sleep procedure? I can’t fall asleep unless I lay on my back for a few minutes, then roll to my side and finally my stomach before I can crash. Unless I’m wasted, can’t skip a step or else I’ll have to start over.
Saw an interview with Russell Crowe the other night. The only decent info Mike ‘I suck at my job’ Wallace got out of him was when he asked what Mr. Crowe thought of Hollywood.
‘One word- employment,’ he said.
My unsolicited opinion? Reality TV, YouTube, Borat. Hollywood’s playing field is becoming flattened. Entertainment is no longer a production but an individual display of what reality may be.

I know this is all way out there, but I’m definitely in a warp right now spending so much time alone.

Have you ever put sour cream instead of milk in your coffee? I bet it’d be gross too. I’ve put a personal ban on shampoo, not to mention conditioner. I think exceptional hygiene is a product of consumerism. Pipe cleaners are more desirable than a clean mop plus split ends are a fabrication. Ooh, that Newhouse kid is a hippie. You have my condolences but not my apologies. Does that make sense? What does condolences mean anyway?

Someone explained to me the other day that new music is inspired by the drug users of the time. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not turning super hippie on you, I keep my usage moderate and gateway, but I thought it was interesting. Look at the 70’s with ‘Classic Rock’, now with all that electronic movement, not to mention the 80’s and lately even hiphop. The chick had a point. What about the Nickelback’s and Stealth Christian rock you ask? No sane person would ever classify them as a movement of music – in my mind, they can thought of as the paint sticks holding the spot between the generations of what people think is hip.
Okay, I figured out where I stand on Wal-Mart. Don’t have a problem. It’s merely a reflection of where the US is as a country and in our business ethical standards. Ha, gotcha. You know there’s no such thing as business ethics. But seriously, sure Wal-Mart puts hundreds of mom and pops out of a job, but aren’t they something like the largest employer in the world? Also, when you buy lawn furniture are you interested in paying twice as much to support the grandparents of some friend from high school or do you just want to get your goods on the cheap? We should stop blaming Wal-Mart calling them evil. Give them a hand, somebody was bound to master the supply-chain system of capitalism, they just beat everyone else to the punch. Now that consumer items are becoming virtually free, what’re we gonna do with all the cash left over? Hmm…
Watched an episode of Desperate Housewives last week. I must admit, I enjoyed myself. Coming from Suburbia, this show is bang on, on identifying suburban people (from my experience). It’s witty, well-written, there’re tons of hot chicks who like to get naked and have lots of sex, plus it even made me think a little. Or at least smile at the predicaments. Hell, I even spotted Winston from Ghostbusters on there, so it can’t be that bad. A freakin’ Ghostbuster!!
