kiva pays out, stonehenge breaks down
'I'd love to teach a man how to fish.' This is the motto behind Kiva.org. The idea is called micro-lending. You lend small amounts of cash to people who need it so they can start some kind of business. It's just the little boost they need to get their idea off the ground. The lender stays updated with the borrowers progress through the site. Plus there is a 95% return of investment. So instead of giving cash to some big charity that you have no idea where the money actually goes, this type of lending hooks you up to the people you are helping out. kiva.org is just one of the many.

Ooohhh, this kinda thing makes my mouth water just at its simplicity. Can't wait to get my feet wet. Thanks for the tip Ben.
Also, a guy may have just cracked the century's old question of how they built Stonehenge. Thanks David.

On another random note about umm... well: I feel like some people view their life like their at the bottom of a hole they never seem to be able to get out of. I try to look at it like we're all born on the mountaintop. It's just a matter of figuring out how to stay up there.

Brian - You are the genuine article. Fix up your blog man - it doesn't represent you well.
For everyone that doesn't know.. I met Brian really - for the first time this weekend on Lake Wales in Florida. I've known him since his birth.. but never really 'knew' him until now. Adventurous, bright, intelligent.. the man needs his own travelogue show. People, if you haven't seen his 'Bannadog' - seek it out - and CONTRIBUTE to the cause!
Forgive my spelling.. some COUSINS kept me out REALLY late last night at a country music nightclub. It was a sight.. three grubby guys that had been fishing and living together in a fish camp for three days with 14 people and 1 shower w00ting it up.
It keeps me young and heart. I BET Brian has some pictures of it all too.
Cheers!
